Governance and limitations

What our chart cannot prove.

The principal's conflict of interest is structural.

Scott Welch owns Labs products and is the final authority for Institute publication. Independent AI reviewers can challenge Labs implementations, but cannot eliminate that conflict. Research on our own organizational effectiveness is self-study, not independent proof.

The organization has a human-ratified design, but its operational adoption is still pending.
The GitHub connector attributes writes to the connected account. It does not independently authenticate which AI proposed an action or prove a separate principal approval. This seat-appointment authorization weakness (R2) remains open.
The extended OrgDef vocabulary has not yet been verified against a normative schema and renderer (F6).
No AI seat can independently publish, commit an external obligation, or ratify its own charter changes.
The public summary omits detailed records, but original memos and appointment records are available in the separately labeled public governance archive.
